one of my friend is video calling her mother at Bumthang through a smartphone, showing how communication has evolved with technology. In the past, people relied on letters or simple phone calls. Today, ICT tools like video calls allow face-to-face conversations instantly, no matter the distance, making communication more personal, faster, and more convenient.

I found that ICT (information and communication technology) is an effective means of communication that is changing the manner in which people communicate, unlike when letters, screaming, and simple phones were the only means of contact. ICT allows for a two-way process of communication that is quicker, simpler, and more convenient via a myriad of applications, technologies, and tools like social media, email, chat rooms, blogs, and virtual meeting tools.These tools have revolutionized how we interact. Asynchronous communication, in which parties can send and receive messages at their own pace, e.g., through emails, differs from synchronous communication, which is done in real time like video calls.
